Steve Pacholick, CPCU

Prior to joining RRiSC, Steve was instrumental in the opening of the Atlanta branch for Markel Re’s Alternative Risk Division. At Markel Re, Steve was responsible for working with retail brokers, reinsurance intermediaries, and primary ceding company clients on cutting-edge alternative risk financing and risk transfer structures.
Before joining Markel Re, Steve was an Assistant Vice President and Southeast Public Entity Practice Leader for the Alternative Risk subsidiary of General Re, Genesis Underwriting Management Company.
Steve has played an active role in many professional organizations, including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society and the Public Risk Management Association. He is a frequent speaker at industry functions and a prominent workshop leader at various industry-sponsored educational forums.
Steve is the author of the January, 2001 PUBLIC RISK article Hepatitis C, The Hidden Invasion and the February, 2005 PUBLIC RISK article SUPER CHARGED – The Case For and Against the Use of Electro-Shock Weapons.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Steve holds the CPCU, ARM-P and ARe professional designations.
