Robert A. Domanico retired as a Senior Vice President of General Reinsurance Corporation in June of 2005. He joined General Re as a Second Vice President in the Treaty Marketing Department in 1985. Three years later advanced to Vice President. Mr. Domanico was most recently the Southeastern Regional Leader for the Regional Business Unit responsible for 7 portfolio accounts as well as overseeing the Southeastern Region, which consists of 8 states, and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining General Re, Mr. Domanico worked for American Independent Re for five years as a Second Vice President. Previous to this position, he was with National Re for two years. Before joining National Re, he spent over seven years in the primary industry in various underwriting and marketing roles.

Mr. Domanico earned his B.A. degree in economics from Hunter College and his M.B.A. in Finance from Iona College.
